Recorrido de la EUROCHALLENGE 2011

Este es el recorrido principal con una longitud de 25Km, cuyo itinerario es:

Salida desde la  Playa Centro de La Vila Joiosa, recorrido por la costa hacia “Castell” de Benidorm, giro en el Geiser y dirección Punta de Caball, ciaboga hacia la L’Illa que se tomará por babor rumbo a L’Antoneta en La Vila, recorrido frente a la playa y meta en el Club Náutic La Vila Joiosa.

Recorrido reservado para las categorías Juvenil y Tradicional, de 19 Km. Coincide con el anterior en la primera parte y realizando la ciaboga en el Surtidor frente al “Castell” en Benidorm.

Por último el recorrido para los menores, 14/16 años, de 9 KM con un recorrido de ida y vuelta al “Racó Conill”.

Las inscripciones cierran el 25 the Abril 2011.

The race will take place in the town of La Villajoyosa, 20km north of Alicante
(The start of the Volvo Ocean Challenge)
The race will be held on the 1nd of May 2011 at 11.30 hours.
Saturday 30th of April from 19.30 -20.00 will be the pre-race meeting. Paddlers will be briefed on race rules, race safety and changes to the itinerary.                                                                                    The race meeting will be held at the Club Nautico La Villajoyosa.
Inscriptions are made on line at this web site (registration).                                                           Closing date for inscriptions is the 25 of April 2010.
Inscription cost: 40 Euros, which includes, paddler federation, (if you are not a spanish paddler), post race lunch and a t-shirt. 25 Euros for cadets and juniors.

Distances
The short course will be 9km, This course applies to cadets.
Junior and traditional will have a 19km course.
The rest of the categories will have a 25km course, there and back.
Judges have the right to modify the course as per weather conditions.
